This year-long, live, online mentorship program has been running successfully for several years. Girls love it so much that they often wish the class could last even longer — it’s interactive, engaging, and truly fun!

I know how challenging it can be as a parent watching your daughter navigate this stage of growing up. You want her to feel confident in her choices, proud of her Muslim identity, and comfortable wearing the hijab. This program is designed to support her every step of the way, helping her overcome challenges, remove obstacles, and build confidence, while connecting with a community of peers. She can participate live online, so the program comes straight to her, wherever she is.

Meet Your Mentor

Assalam alaikum! I’m Samia Elkowessny, founder of Hijabista Girls and author of Becoming a Hijabista.

With over 20 years of experience working with Muslim youth, I’ve helped many girls navigate growing up in the West while staying connected to their Islamic identity. My goal is to create a warm, encouraging, and lasting experience — so every girl associates the hijab with confidence, comfort, and love.

• Bi-weekly on Tuesdays, 4:30–6:00 PM PST (full calendar sent early summer)
